It was decided that we would get the kids something, and then do a couples gift for the married couples.
At first I had no clue what to do. And then it hit me... DATE NIGHT IN A BOX!
It seemed so obvious.
My hubby's sister and husband have two small ones at home, so date nights aren't very often.
And my in-laws, like us, don't live close to town, so a fun night at home for a date is always more convenient.
SO, I thought about some fun things that could be put together to make a super fun date night at HOME.
And here is what i came up with…
Candy - I am a sucker for peanut butter m&m's… and who can resist some lindor chocolates?
Popcorn - because… popcorn! And if you want to relax with a movie instead of play a game - bonus.
Beverage and stripy straws.
Gum - it's a date after all.
THIS book. I found it on Amazon, and it has 1,000 questions for couples to "grow their relationship."
Example… Are you okay with your partner flirting with others? Explain. • Using at least five adjectives, describe yourself as a child. • What is the greatest gift you have offered this world? • If you had to swap any part of your body with someone of the other gender, what would it be, and why? • How has your relationship with a higher power influenced your life today?
Kinda fun right?
AND I also threw in a Starbucks card. Because you never know… getting out might just be possible. :)
If you are still planning out your Christmas gifts, give this a try! And let me know how it goes.
AND if you have any other suggestions, leave them in the comments for people putting these boxes together this holiday season!
