gender reveal party

This last Saturday evening my sweet friends threw the best ever gender reveal party for me and the family.
I am a fan of party planning, but I think I might be a bigger fan of having my close friends throw parties for me.
Just see for yourselves… it was the most adorable and delicious get together.
We played games.
We ate lots of ice cream.
We caught up with friends and family.
We laughed lots.
And we bet on what baby #3 was going to be.

This is my farmer being right… like always.
And here is me… dead wrong.

And now on to the actual reveal.
I made this darling little pull string piñata.

You can find the tutorial here.
I also cut up a ton of blue and pink confetti… which in turn has caused me to be slightly crippled in the wrist.
And then placed them in bags next to the super secret envelope with the gender in it.
My friend Jenn {head party planner} opened the envelope, stuffed the piñata, and hung it up.
And then boom. Boy mom times three.
Insert all the heart eyed emoticons here.
What a fabulous evening spent with friends and family celebrating our third little boy!!
