{eat, drink and be mary}

Today, I have the privilege of introducing you to a super blog/ger.
Meet Mary of Eat, Drink and be Mary.
Girlfriend is not only gorgeous, but her blog is oh-so fun to read!
I promise you.
Please stalk her accordingly, but first... read a little q&a I had with her {and don't miss out on her stellar discount code too!}:

Firstly - let's start out with your lovely blog. What inspired you to begin your blog, and has that changed since you started?

I started blogging to have a place to keep all the pictures I take.  Quickly it evolved to a place where I could share family recipes, reminisce on my 4 and a half college years, and find a support system for my long distance relationship.

Girlfriend, you are so crafty!! Tell me about some of your fav DIY's?

Crafting is always a good way to relax and get rid of some stress, and thanks to all this wedding planning I have a lot of DIY projects on my to-do list.  Some of my favorites?  DIY "Save the Date" Sharpie MugsHow we asked our Flower Girl and Ring Bearer.

And how about those delicious recipes!? I want to lick my screen when you post a new one. What are your top recipes you've shared?

I've have been helping in the kitchen ever since I can remember.  Some of my favorite recipes I've shared are peanut butter and Oreo truffles and no bake butterscotch haystacks (perfect for Spring right around the corner).

You are planning your wedding!!!  What has been the best and worst part about wedding planning?

We are almost halfway through our engagement and I canNOT wait for August to get here!  I have loved wedding planning, seriously.  I'm sure it'll get stressful as we get closer but so far I'm just soaking up every minute of it.

Best part: My fiance responding to almost all of my questions, "whatever you want babe."  #swoon

Worst part: For about a day my younger cousin was thinking of getting married the day that was our first preference.  I cried and complained to all my bridesmaids, and they assured me it'd work out..and it did.  August 1st here we come!

Looks like you nabbed a mighty fine man. Tell me more about your journey.

As the summer after our junior year approached Thomas began asking me to hang out everyday for two weeks, and I shut him down every time.  But this boy wasn't giving up, he offered to take me to baseball games, make me dinner, take me fishing, go to the river with a group of friends, and I just kept giving him reasons why I couldn't.  Finally one night I gave in.  We hung out, me talking non-stop, of course, and him just listening.  That's all it took, one night and I was hooked.  After that we were inseparable for the next two weeks until school let out for summer.  And the rest is history.  Little did he know that I was the one to make the actual first move by calling dibs...     [read: why we work]
