{five things}

First and foremost, this little guy turned three months old yesterday.
{insert expletive}
Not quite sure where the last three months went, but all I know is now I have this cute, chubby, chatty and smiley little babe to cuddle.
Here is a little teaser of a photo shoot I did with him... there are a whole lot more to come.

{taken at the lovely Farmer and the Bell's house}

I like to think I am supermom on occasion.
For example, if I take a trip to go grocery shopping and both of my boys are pleasant and happy the whole time... supermom status.
Well, I was feeling pretty darn good about myself nearing the end of a shopping trip at Wal-Mart.
Those feelings were quickly dashed when I had unloaded my whole cart, and went to get my wallet out... which was sitting in a nice safe place at HOME.
This might not seem like a big deal if I could have run home to get my wallet - but us country folk live a good half hour away from the prestigious Wal-Mart.
Just the thought of having to load, unload, load and unload the boys to go and get money and then come back to retrieve our groceries, might have made me shed a tear or two.
Brody was very confused and maybe a little bit concerned as we left our cart full of goodies...
cute little guy was mostly concerned about the flowers that he had picked out for me though.
Luckily the people at the bank know who I am, so I was able to withdrawal some moola.
Here is a little video of Brody explaining a bit of the experience.

Apparantly I said, "UGH!"

Our garden is barfing vegetables!
See for yourself.

So many zucchini and cucumbers.
We also have a whole lot of jalapenos, mint, cherry tomatoes, carrots, beets, and green beans... but I can at least keep up with those.

I've started walking.

I hit a plateau with loosing baby weight, so I figured I needed to do something.
Is it pathetic that my legs are sore from walking?
Yes, I thought so.

The hubby is nearing a little free time in his schedule.
It's a modern miracle really.
We'd like to take a couple of days to do something...
Any suggestions?

 Have a terrific weekend homies!

{i blame the hormones}

As a mom of two young boys, I find myself being very sentimental lately. I blame the hormones... still.

I laid in bed last night in awe of just how old they have gotten. Yes, two and a half years and three months might not sound very old, but it really seems like just yesterday that Brody was the smiling baby I was picking up out of the crib. His long arms and legs and complete sentences he speaks now remind me daily how long ago it really was.

I changed out Beckam's closet recently too. My little baby, not quite three months old, is fitting quite nicely into six month clothes.
What the heck?
Seriously, I need to purchase some 9 month jammies for him, stat.

I always wonder when Brody won't want me to sit with him while he falls asleep. Or sneak into our bed in the wee hours of the morning. Or beckon me into his room so we can play a "fun new game." And yell excitedly, "Mommy, chase me!"

I try to remind myself daily to relish these "now" moments,  but honestly time goes SO fast.
I wish I could freeze time to keep them this age for a just a bit longer. But alas.
Tomorrow they will be older. More independent than the day before.
One step closer to being fine young men {I hope}.

It's hard to watch them grow up, and I know I will miss these days {even the ones filled with fits and tears... maybe}.

Have a wonderful week everyone. Don't take one second for granted!

{i love love walla walla}

This past weekend we went to Walla Walla, Washington.
This is the sweet little town where I met and married my handsome farmer.

We've added two more handsome farmers to the mix now!

 My hubby's lovely aunt, and some of my friends, live there so we go to visit every few months.
But this time two of my besties came also.
We lived together in college and the last time we were all there together...
was at my wedding over 6 years ago now.

It was such a fun weekend catching up, visiting our old stomping grounds,
and re-living the good ol' days!

Aren't we sexy!?

No, for reals.

Happy weekend y'all!

{five on friday}

Last weekend my brother got married.
We had a whirlwind trip down to Cali and back.

Brody just so happened to be the BEST ring bearer ever. Ever.
And my new sis in law is gorgeous.

This is what Beckam did for all of the wedding festivities...

It was a shame that he couldn't show off his tux a little bit more.

It was a wonderful wedding!

Sunday was my birthday. Holla!
29. Still hanging on to the twenties.
I spent my entire birthday in my car.
No, literally. ALL day.

My farmer did get me some awfully beautiful flowers along the way though...

And this week my fav gal pal surprised me with the cutest and most delicious cake! Yum.

This kid.
Gosh, he kills me. In a good way.
He also just so happens to love me. A LOT.
I sure hope it stays like that... forever.

These are a couple of pics I took of him yesterday.

Speaking of undeniable cuteness...

This little love bug turned 10 weeks old Wednesday.
Turns out he's the best baby around.
And he can sport teeny tiny jeans like it's nobody's business.

LOVE this little blue eyed boy to pieces!

We are about to head out the door to take a little trip to Walla Walla, WA.
I am meeting up with these besties...

Don't be jealous. I know we look super cool. :)

Linking up today...

Have a wonderful weekend!
