{easter}

This easter was much more exciting than the last one we had with Brody. He slept through all of the festivities!

 This year, he was quite excited.

I decided I would post a little picture "play-by-play" of our Easter. Enjoy.

Brody really REALLY wanted to touch all the cups with the dye in it.

Actually, maybe he wanted to drink it. I mean it was liquid, and, well, he is addicted to liquid... mostly in the form of water.

Naturally, we stayed in our jammers for the easter egg coloring.

And I gave Brody lots and lots of kisses. He is a real fan. :)

See, he likes it. {check out all of those teeth!}

Brody wrote all sorts of profound things on his easter egg. It was beautiful.

The Easter Bunny brought lots of goodies.

Brody enjoyed his basket of books, puffs, fruit snacks, and garden tools.

He also got a pair of stellar shades from grandma & grandpa... can't you tell how much he loves them?

He also got some ducks that he continues to take for daily walks.

Finally, it was time for some egg hunting! Ryan and I went and hid the eggs real REAL hard.

{you can see a pink egg waiting to be found on the far left of the picture too}

How many adults/dogs does it take to help a toddler find easter eggs?

My matching misters.

He decided {like usual} that he could do it all by himself. What a big boy.

Grandpa was quite a trooper. He would carry him from one egg to another,

and lay by the egg, pointing to it, so Brody would grab it and throw it {literally} into his basket.

{Oh yes, and Gunner was very helpful too}

When he wasn't riding on grandpa's back, Zaza would help him walk through that nasty grass.

 Daddy also helped out quite a bit when the Bro-man got a wee bit tired... not sure why we thought 24 eggs just for him was a good idea.

{snagged the blue egg}

Last egg!

The best easter egg hunter ever.

Our precious little family.

I think that is probably enough for now. If you have made it this far, pat yourself on the back!

Needless to say, we had a great day. Next year we will have to hide the eggs a little more obscurely. :)

How was your Easter?

PS - Today is my mom's {Zaza to Brody} birthday. Holla! Happy Birthday Mom.
